Lead Teacher

Hi! I’m Becca, the Lead Teacher and Program Director at Start Here Preschool.
I was raised in Central Oregon and earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from COCC, with a focus on developmental psychology.
For over 10 years, I’ve worked in a variety of early childhood settings — teaching, leading, and supporting children and families. I love sharing creative, play-based learning opportunities that help kids grow in confidence, curiosity, and community.
As both a Teacher and Program Director in our Parent-Board-Run, Nonprofit Parent Cooperative, I wear a lot of hats! I guide daily classroom activities, mentor parent aides, collaborate with our Board, and help shape a program that reflects our shared values.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, creating and crafting, being outdoors, and spending time with the people I love.
I’m so glad to be part of Start Here! Preschool, and I’m looking forward to many more joyful years teaching and growing with our community!

Hi! My name is Angelica and I am the teacher assistant at Start Here! Preschool. I was born in California and raised in Missouri and Colorado.
In January 2024, I will be celebrating 10 years that I have made Central Oregon my home. I attended COCC for my Associates degree. Currently finishing my Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology with connection to Clinical Counseling.
For over 14 years, now, I have volunteered and worked in childcare settings. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, hiking and spending time with my loved ones.
I look forward to getting to know you and your child this school year at Start Here! Preschool!
